ALTUS HEALTH & PERFORMANCE LTD
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Altus Health & Performance Ltd (“Altus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing or participating in any service offered by Altus, you (“the client”, “you”, or “your”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services Provided
Altus Health & Performance Ltd provides online coaching services, performance coaching services, community-based running events, digital products, and physical merchandise. All services are delivered primarily through third-party platforms including Trainerize, Wix, and Stripe.
The Online Coaching service, also referred to as “Team Altus”, is provided on a monthly subscription basis and includes a personalised training programme, ongoing coach communication, periodic programme reviews, general nutrition guidance based on recommended daily intake, access to the Altus Run Club, access to the members area, and a complimentary T-shirt redeemable after the first full month of active subscription.
Performance Coaching is offered as a premium service and includes all features of Online Coaching in addition to weekly consultations, continuous programme adjustments, a fully personalised nutrition plan, and an extended apparel package. This service is subject to a mandatory minimum commitment period of six months.
2. Payment Terms
All payments for services are processed via Stripe or Wix and are billed on a recurring or one-time basis depending on the selected service. Subscription payments commence on the agreed training start date, not the date of purchase.
Altus requires a period of approximately four to six days prior to the start date in order to complete onboarding, programme design, and instructional delivery. This onboarding process may include consultations and instructional content delivered via Loom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Trainerize.
Refunds are not provided once onboarding has been completed and a programme has been delivered. A refund may only be considered in circumstances where no programme has been issued and no onboarding has taken place. No refunds will be issued within 24 hours of purchase under any circumstances. Additionally, no refunds will be granted on the basis of dissatisfaction arising from lack of adherence, lack of engagement, or failure to achieve desired results.
Where a client elects to pay for Performance Coaching in full in advance, any applicable discount will be applied; however, such payments are strictly non-refundable.
3. Cancellation and Termination
Clients enrolled in Online Coaching may cancel their subscription at any time, provided that a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is given prior to the next billing cycle. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the next billing cycle being charged.
Performance Coaching is subject to a fixed six-month contractual commitment. By enrolling in this service, you agree to complete the full term. Early termination of this agreement will not be permitted except in exceptional circumstances, such as medical incapacity supported by appropriate evidence, and will remain at the sole discretion of Altus Health & Performance Ltd.
Altus reserves the right to terminate a client’s programme without refund if there has been no communication from the client for a period exceeding ten consecutive days, despite reasonable attempts to establish contact through all available communication channels.
4. Client Responsibilities
By engaging in any Altus service, you accept full responsibility for your participation and agree to engage with your programme in a consistent and reasonable manner. You acknowledge that results are dependent on your adherence, communication, and commitment.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your health, fitness, and lifestyle during the consultation and onboarding process. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in increased risk and will not be the responsibility of Altus.
Altus operates on the principle that coaching is a collaborative process. While we provide structure, guidance, and support, the responsibility for execution lies with you. Failure to engage with the programme, follow guidance, or maintain communication does not constitute grounds for refund or dispute.
5. Health and Safety Disclaimer
You acknowledge that participation in physical training carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or adverse health events. By engaging with Altus services, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to undertake such activity.
Altus coaches are qualified fitness professionals; however, they are not medical practitioners and do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Any advice provided is for general fitness and performance purposes only. You are advised to seek appropriate medical guidance from a qualified healthcare provider where necessary, including contacting NHS services such as 111 or 999 in the event of a medical emergency.
Altus Health & Performance Ltd accepts no liability for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome sustained as a result of participation in training programmes, misuse of guidance, or failure to act within personal physical limitations.
6. Run Club and Events
Participation in Altus Run Club and any associated events is undertaken entirely at your own risk. By attending, you accept full responsibility for your health, safety, and wellbeing during all sessions.
Following the initial session, all participants are required to RSVP via the members area or notify a member of the Altus team prior to attendance. Failure to do so may result in refusal of entry to the session.
All participants are expected to adhere to instructions provided by coaches and maintain appropriate conduct. Altus reserves the right to remove or permanently ban any individual from events or community access in cases of misconduct, non-compliance, or behaviour deemed inappropriate.
7. Members Area and Conduct
Access to the Altus members area is provided via Wix and is subject to acceptable standards of behaviour. Users are expected to engage respectfully with both coaches and other members of the community.
Altus reserves the right to revoke access to the members area, run club, or any associated service without refund in cases of abuse, harassment, or failure to adhere to community standards.
8. Digital Products and Merchandise
Altus offers digital products and physical merchandise through its online store. Digital products, including downloadable PDFs, are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.
Physical products are subject to standard UK consumer rights. Refunds or replacements will only be provided in cases where goods are faulty or not as described.
9. Discounts and Offers
Discounts, promotions, and offers provided by Altus are non-transferable and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Eligibility for discounts does not override or alter the contractual obligations associated with any service.
10. Data Protection
Altus Health & Performance Ltd processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, contact information, health-related data, and payment information, all of which are necessary for the delivery of services.
Data is processed through third-party platforms including Trainerize, Stripe, and Wix. A full Privacy Policy outlining data handling practices is available separately.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altus Health & Performance Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of its services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of income, loss of performance outcomes, or injuries sustained during participation.
